Picked up an old timing light that works 1000 times better than any of the new digital ones you get at the parts store, an old "anvil" made out of a chunk of train track and some razorblades for 5 bucks at a garage sale yesterday.

56 Olds shenanigans!
We finally had some nice weather so I yanked the 324 out of the Olds. I need to power wash the engine bay and do some quick painting before I drop in the 394.

After a trip to the parts store for a new u-joint Trukito lives! Going from the 3.23's to the 3.91's and having the overdrive tranny it takes off from a stop way nicer, the rpm's are lower at 60 mph and I still have 3/4 throttle left. I'll give it a few days and see how much better the gas mileage is.
